March 2011 Exhibit at Kentuck

For the whole month of March the works of West Alabama Fiber Guild were exhibited at Kentuck for the first time. Our members submitted for show and sale various works in weaving, tatting, crochet, bead crochet, knitting, bobbin lace, and other forms of fiber arts. Woven tapestries, jewelry, bags, apparel, handspun yarns, ornaments, home accessories, lace, and scarves...in other words the exhibit was brimming with color and handmade love.

My bead crochet and Venetian crochet bags, as well as various jewelry in bead crochet and tatting, handpainted ornaments, and other creations were showcased.

Display only corner showcases my bead crochet and
Venetian crochet purses, jewelry,
and beautiful bobbin lace art executed by the president
of West Alabama Fiber Guild and lace maker Carol Timkovich.
More pictures from the exhibit can be seen here on the West Alabama Fiber Guild blog.

Thanks to everyone who showed their support and appreciation by visiting our exhibit. It's always a pleasure to know that there are people who have interest in fiber arts. An exhibit is to be exhibited to people, without them it doesn't make much sense.
